Look at the smile on my face! It shows a very happy retired 7th grade teacher (yes, I am a saint)! I had a great 30 year career teaching in public schools in suburban Chicago. I made many friends, loved my students, and created fond memories! My husband of 40 years, Mario, is retiring soon and we'll have time together experiencing new adventures! Pictured with me are my two rescues, Lucy (Beagle mix) and Ricky (Sheltie mix). Lucy is 14 and Ricky is 13. I have a soft spot for senior dogs. Unfortunately, Mario isn't in the picture because he had to WORK! 😊
